February 2009

Happy 1st Birthday Owen!

Owen turned 1 on January 17th. This year has gone by so fast!

I bought this little crown and had to get at least one picture of him wearing it. He hated it being on his head so this isn't the greatest picture.

He loved his cake! We gave him a big slice of the cake with tons of frosting!

He figured out that he could eat more cake faster if he didn't use his hands.

He didn't even get down to the cake part...only the frosting.

Family shot before he got messy.

Owen on his new four-wheeler that get got as a gift from Kevin and I. He loves riding on it. He's started to figure out how to push the botton on his own to make it go.

Merry Christmas

It's been a while since I posted new pictures on here. So now it's time to get caught up.

Dressed Up

Here's a picture of our little man all ready for church. Too bad I couldn't get a picture without that hanger in his hand.

Two Teeth

Finally Owen is back to sleeping through the night...well at least he slept through the night the past two nights so I'm hoping it continues. I think it all had to do with his teeth coming in. He now has his two bottom teeth.

He is getting so big so fast! He crawls around the house really fast and he pulls himself up to the couch and balances while only holding on by one hand. He's starting to walk alongside the couch while holding onto it. Now he keeps trying to lift his leg up to climb onto the couch. Daddy thinks he'll be walking by Christmas.

Busted!!

Owen just recently began pulling himself up to a standing position but he hasn't stood up in his crib yet...until today. This is how we found Owen after he woke up from his nap. Needless to say we had to lower his crib down as low as it can go.

A couple more pictures of our little bumble bee. We went to Grandma and Grandpa Manthei's house so they could see Owen in his first Halloween costume. The weather was so nice so we took some pictures in their front yard. I thought Owen would be fussy in his costume but I think he really liked it.

Can you tell it's hunting season?? Check out Kevin's beard.
